About Edison
Edison Mooers built Zolliboo for one reason: he wanted a world where every child could hear that hard things happen to everyone, and nobody has to face them alone. Not a world with no cold in it, no fear, no being wrong. A world where somebody always comes.
It’s for the parents too, the ones reading it aloud at bedtime, who remember when that kind of world felt possible, and are handing their own kids a reason to believe it still is.
By day he leads a software engineering department. By night, he’s a writer working out how to say true things simply enough for a bedtime voice to carry them, and still say them straight. The illustrations are his too, built across several AI tools and shaped by hand until they looked like the world he’d already written.
