The Trouble with Fruit Thieves Is Almost Here

Sarah has a story to share. The Trouble with Fruit Thieves, Book 2 of The Zufflekins of Zolliboo by Edison Mooers, is awaiting approval of the author’s proof.

Everyone in Yumbledon Village calls them Fruit Thieves.

Sarah Zufflekin has never paid much attention to the silly spotted birds, until an unkind joke about her changing fur sends her running home in tears.

Under the great Hempshayla tree, with her little brother Zach close by, Sarah begins watching one of the birds. And the longer she watches, the more she wonders if everyone has gotten something wrong.

A gentle story about the words that hurt, the love that helps, and the surprising things we discover when we look a little closer.

Once the proof is approved and the book is available on Amazon, we’ll add the purchase link to the Stories page and share the news here. There is no release date to announce just yet.

Zolliboo has a new little corner on Facebook.

Follow Zolliboo on Facebook for new stories, songs, artwork, glimpses of Yumbledon Village, and the small mysteries that appear as the world grows.

The website will stay the home of Zolliboo. Facebook is simply another path into the village, and an easy way to hear when something new arrives.

Three New Songs from Zolliboo

There is new music in Zolliboo. Three new songs have joined the collection, each with its own cover art:

You'll Never Face It Alone, a bedtime lullaby. It is the promise at the heart of Zolliboo, set to music, and it is made to be played softly at the very end of the day.
Walk Through Yumbledon, a walking song. A stroll through Yumbledon Village, where every road leads you home.
Round and Round in Zolliboo, a seasons song. Spring, summer, autumn, winter, and back again.

Where Does the World Go? Is Out in the World

Our first book is officially for sale on Amazon, and the early word from families has been wonderful. Parents and children who have read it keep telling us the same two things: they loved it, and they want to know when the next one is coming. Our first Amazon review arrived this week too. Five stars, from a grandmother whose grandchildren can't wait for the next book. We can't think of a better first reader.

The Zufflekins have also arrived on Goodreads. You can find Where Does the World Go? there now. If you've read the book, adding it to your shelf or leaving a review helps more families find their way to Yumbledon.

And About That Next Book

It has a name: The Trouble with Fruit Thieves, starring Sarah Zufflekin. The story is written, and illustration is underway now. Watching Yumbledon come to life page by page has been one of the best parts of this whole adventure, and we can't wait to show you what Sarah gets up to.
